Long Weekend Wrap Up

Nice weather the past few days no? I love it when the weekends blow and the weekdays are spectacularly sunny. Well at least I was somewhat productive considering our plans to head up north never came to fruition.

Thursday I ended the week from hell and came home chilled with my hubby and dogs outside waiting for the rain to fall. I cooked up some turkey kielbasa, steamers and crawled into a bottle of Groth.

Friday we did a whole lot of nothing....lunch a, saw Wall-E and took the dogs swimming. We were going to hit up the Paw Sox but due to the threat of rain we decided to stay in.

Saturday we got up lounged around and then the hubby went out to play some golf on my request. I was in a terrible mood unable to come down from a horrid work week so I needed some retail organization therapy to right the ship. I headed to BB&B and picked up some new household items. The list included this, a new plastic liner curtain and some nested baskets for organization. After three hours in a newly spic and span (and organized) bathroom I was starting to feel myself again. I took a long shower in and my hair came out great. We headed out for some quick dinner at the Longhorn. Two glasses of Dynamite cab and all was right in the world. I also ran in to a really cool girl I worked with ten years ago which was nice both to see her and also that I had good hair.

Today I have spent the majority of the day digging out of the mess I have made out of our spare room, more commonly known as my walk in closet. I tend to go through this cycle where it gets out of control and then I have to spend a ridiculous amount of time getting my life (Clothes\Shoes\Accessories) back in order. I needed to get this taken care of because on Tuesday much to my husband's dismay I am interviewing a house cleaning service. I mentioned to him last week I wanted to hire someone because since his promotion and new travel schedule I am having trouble keeping up. He agreed and is now reconsidering saying we can handle it ourselves. I am keeping the appointment any way just to keep my options open. Well that is it from my camp this evening. I am off to bed soon, boot camp in the morning and I smell a dreaded run.
